Presented by Ed Paesel, Executive Director, South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association, Oct. 27, 2010, at the "GRIP the Future" launch of the Gary and Region Investment Project in Gary, Ind. The presentation explains the parallels between the south suburbs of Chicago and Northwest Indiana; and encourages Northwest Indiana to take a collaborative approach to redevelopment, which has proven successful in the south suburbs.
