Water Wise: What We Need to Know About our Water Resources

On March 25, 2011 MPC and Openlands were proud to present their roundtable on "Water Wise: What We Need to Know About our Water Resources". Featuring panelists Carey Hidaka, Business Solutions Professional, IBM Global Business Services; Michael Sturtevant, P.E., Acting Deputy Commissioner, Bureau of Engineering Services, Chicago Dept. of Water Management; and Allen Wehrmann, P.E., P.H. (GW), D.WRE,Head, Center for Groundwater Science, Illinois State Water Survey, Institute of Natural Resource Sustainability, University of Illinois. An audience of more than 100 people came to learn about water solutions, Chicagoland's sewer system, and how we can utilize rainwater harvesting for our every day use.
