Celebrating the Legacy: John W. Baird

An event in honor of John W. Baird was held at the Goodman Theatre on Feb. 3, 2014. The program celebrated the legacy of the man who changed the face of Chicago, the city’s open lands, historic preservation and the entire real estate industry.

Mr. Baird was a dedicated MPC volunteer, serving on our Board of Governors for 60 years, including six years as president. Current MPC President MarySue Barrett speaks about his contributions to the organization and the region as a whole beginning at 00:13:10 in the video.
