Metra wants to know about your transit needs.
If you work in the Chicago suburbs, you know that traffic
congestion, multiple transit connections, and limited transportation
alternatives can complicate and delay your travel and directly impact your
quality of life.
The
Metropolitan Planning
Council
supports effective and innovative ideas to improve your access to
opportunity and put your life in the fast lane. So we are pleased to invite people who
work in the Chicago suburbs to take a brief survey
on how the proposed Suburban
Transit Access Route (STAR) Line, a 55-mile commuter rail line initially
linking nearly 100 communities and extending from Joliet to O’Hare International
Airport, can help your commute.
The STAR Line will be the first suburb-to-suburb commuter rail line in the country.
For this reason, the STAR Line Business Alliance, which is a growing group
of area businesses who support the project, and Metra are surveying area businesses and
employees to gauge the needs of its potential riders as it refines it plans.
Please complete the survey
by December 28th . Your
input is vital.
