The New Year motivates me to reflect on the differences our individual and collective actions can make in achieving equity of opportunity in our region. Ther is no question that the pace of our prersonal and professional lives has accelerated, creating hurdles to strengthening community connections.
One of our strengths as a region is our strong and diversified economy. One of the most important themes emerging from a range of regional converstaions is the understanding that if one community or part of our region is falling behind, we all suffer.
