MPC and CMAP at the Chicago Green Festival

The Metropolitan Planning Council and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning hosted a booth at the Chicago Green Festival the weekend of May 17-18 to spread the word about sustainable growth in the Chicago region.

The Metropolitan Planning Council partnered with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) the weekend of May 17-18, 2008 to host a booth at the Chicago Green Festival .  More than 35,000 people attended the festival, many of whom stopped by MPC and CMAP’s booth to learn more about sustainable growth in the Chicago region.  Check out some pictures from the fun weekend!

Green Festival attendees stop by the CMAP and MPC booth to learn about our projects.

The festival, held at Navy Pier, hosted approximately 350 businesses and organizations.

The booths featured a mix of businesses selling sustainable products and organizations working for the protection of the environment.
