The Metropolitan Planning Council and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning hosted a booth at the Chicago Green Festival the weekend of May 17-18 to spread the word about sustainable growth in the Chicago region.
The Metropolitan Planning Council partnered with the
Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) the weekend of May 17-18,
2008 to host a booth at the Chicago Green
Festival
. More than 35,000
people attended the festival, many of whom stopped by MPC and CMAP’s booth to
learn more about sustainable growth in the Chicago region. Check out some

The festival, held at Navy Pier, hosted approximately 350 businesses and
organizations.
The booths featured a mix of businesses selling sustainable products and
organizations working for the protection of the environment.
