Talking Transit bi-weekly bulletin features transit practices and policies from around the world.

MPC's new e-Bulletin featuring best practices and emergent transit policy.

At the outset of 2008, MPC launched an exciting new two-year partnership with Bombardier – the Canadian-based aerospace and rail transportation manufacturer – to bring together the world's brightest transit and land use minds to explore new approaches for reducing gridlock and improving mobility and livability in our region.

Through a series of peer exchanges and public forums that unite experts from a variety of global cities, the MPC-Bombardier partnership is examining common problems and promising solutions from around the world. Together, peers fromNew York, San Francisco and Chicago are reaching out to international experts, sharing their experiences, strategies and challenges in navigating the research, implementation and operation of emergent transit and land use policies. This is a critical opportunity to bring innovation and insight to metropolitan Chicago's transportation discussion.

MPC invites you to benefit from this important partnership and peer-exchange by means of a bi-weekly e-bulletin. Only by studying an array of approaches worldwide can the best methods be discovered - it is with this in mind that we bring you Talking Transit. Every two weeks, MPC uncovers best practices from around the world and delivers them right to your inbox. Extended articles that build upon our newsletter will be available on our website to provide updated information and resources and to keep people apprised of relevant transportation topics.
