'Find Your Place In Chicago' offers $15,000 toward the purchase of a new home

Are you looking to purchase a new home in Chicago this fall? If so “Find Your Place In Chicago” is presenting a special home buying offer to purchase one of the remaining 81 homes in five new Chicago developments at greatly reduced prices and with great incentives.

These newly built homes in some of Chicago’s most centrally located neighborhoods, including Old Town, Bronzeville and North Kenwood, are being offered at a fraction of their original selling price. In addition, from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, qualified buyers will be given, from the Partnership for New Communities (PNC), a $15,000 incentive that can be applied toward downpayment and closing costs, regardless of income. Buyers may also be able to use Employer Assisted Housing (EAH) grants, from participating companies, which could provide additional financial incentive toward the purchase of a new home.

Available homes are priced between $150,000 and $450,000 and are located near good schools, parks and public transportation. In addition to the incentives and reduced prices of the homes, as much as a 39 percent reduction from the original price in some cases, each of the developers has its own incentive package potentially worth thousands of dollars more in savings.

Participating developments include:

  • Parkside of Old Town, perched between the Gold Coast and Lincoln Park
  • Lake Park Crescent in historic North Kenwood
  • Oakwood Shores only minutes from downtown in historic Bronzeville
  • Jackson Park at West End near the Illinois Medical District
  • Park Boulevard, nestled between IIT and US Cellular Field

Buyers have found that with these great incentives, included homebuyer counseling and the support from PNC, the homebuying process is easier and much more affordable.
