Mark your calendar for Oct. 17 CAF lunch talk on design for sustainable transportation

Plan on attending the Chicago Architecture Foundation's lunch talk, "Design for Sustainable Transportation."

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and Chicago Dept. of Transportation are preparing for the launch of Chicago’s first Bus Rapid Transit corridor along the Jeffery Line later this fall. How does one design for more sustainable transportation? Join architect Carol Ross Barney, FAIA to hear about her firm’s vast experience in design for transportation and for the new Chicago BRT stations, and get a virtual tour glimpse of the transformation of the new Jeffery Line from Christopher Ziemann, Chicago Bus Rapid Transit Project Manger, CTA.
