At an MPC Roundtable, a panel featuring Randy Blankenhorn from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), Leanne Redden from the Regional Transportation Authority, Mayor Thomas Weisner from the City of Aurora and Herman Brewer from the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development discuss the region's progress on implementing the goals of CMAP's GO TO 2040 plan.
Why support MPC?
Businesses rely on factors like access (public transportation), zoning, and quality of life factors such as housing, education, recreation, etc. for productivity and to lure a dynamic workforce. Delivering these benefits in today's economy demands a new strategy—one that prioritizes targeted investments, reduces demand for costly infrastructure and services, and maximizes existing assets through technology. MPC focuses on these and other issues that are vital not only to the sustainability, competiveness and livability of the region but also to the businesses located in Chicagoland.
How to support MPC
Events are effective vehicles for MPC to directly engage a wide range of key audiences in our work, including business leaders, stakeholders, partner organizations, elected officials, community leaders and residents. With support from corporate partners, MPC events are unique, valuable forums, where critical issues are discussed, best practices shared, and ideas generated that lead to improvements that benefit the Chicago region. Sponsorship opportunities include:
- MPC Annual Luncheon: MPC's signature event features a keynote speaker that addresses issues of regional and economic importance. The Luncheon attracts approximately 1,000 business, civic, public and community leaders and has featured a range of high-profile and influential speakers. Luncheon sponsorship levels include Co-Chair, Benefactor and Patron. Each level has its own specific benefits including visibility, tickets to the event and admission to a private pre-event reception.
- MPC Roundtables: These lunchtime panel discussions in MPC's conference center accommodate up to 100 people. Exclusive roundtable sponsorship is $10,000 per event and includes visibility on all materials and promotional vehicles, tickets to the event, as well as role in the program.
- MPC Urban Think & Drink: These events feature prominent thought and action leaders in an informal setting, sparking conversations on creating livable urban environments. Sponsorship is $5,000 per event and includes visibility on all promotional materials and complimentary tickets.
Recent event sponsors include AECOM, ARCADIS, BMO Harris, BlueCross BlueShield, CH2M HILL, ComEd, Illinois American Water, JLL and Wight & Company.
