Join Austin Coming Together (ACT) and our partners as we celebrate the first year of implementation of Austin's community-led Quality-of-Life Plan (QLP), a 5-year strategic plan for addressing 7 issue areas Austin has identified as top priorities. Hear about the shared community vision that helped to lay the building blocks for Austin and its residents to work on strategies to improve educational outcomes, create local businesses and jobs, increase access to employment opportunities for Austin residents, and develop affordable housing for purchase by Austin families. Attend our Summit to get an outlook for what's on the horizon for Austin. Plus, the QLP will be presented with the Burnham Award for Excellence In Planning by Kendra Freeman and Dan Cooper of the Metropolitan Planning Council!

The commitment to focus on and support neighborhood development recently announced by Mayor Lori Lightfoot, BMO Harris Bank, United Way of Metro Chicago and others will bring additional resources for our efforts, positioning Austin to become a thriving residential community and business corridor.
