What does it mean to invest in Chicago?

Watch this short video to learn more about MPC, a regional problem solver for more than 80 years.

Please join the Metropolitan Planning Council at our 2015 Annual Luncheon on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, for a conversation with JB Pritzker on why he is confident about Chicago’s future. An entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist, Mr. Pritzker will discuss how Chicago has diversified its economy by enabling technology start-ups to thrive, thanks in part to the creation and success of 1871. He’ll discuss how venture capitalists, philanthropists and the public sector can further collaborate to support the continued evolution of the entrepreneurial economy and collectively advance our region's goals.

Andrew J. McKenna, chairman of McDonald's Corporation and Schwarz Supply Source, will present MPC's Champion Fighter Award to Miles D. White, chairman and CEO of Abbott, for his extraordinary civic contributions to our region.
