The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) is pleased to announce that the registration for the ACT 2011 International Conference is now open! ACT is an international association that supports federal, state, and local agencies and policies that promote sustainable transportation options. Its mission is to support more than 750 transportation demand management (TDM) professionals and organizational members in their efforts to reduce traffic congestion, conserve energy and improve air quality.
Register today for ACT 2011 International Conference: Retool, Reinvest, Recharge, taking place August 27-31 in Chicago, at the Hyatt Regency.
ACT's four-hour training workshops are designed to provide you with vital information on a key transportation demand management topic, teaching you valuable skills and inspiring you with new perspectives. You'll take away useful ideas and innovative concepts that can be applied back home the day you return. Space in these classes is limited, so register soon.
This year, the ACT Conference also will include a special Summit on Parking: The Missing Link in Effective TDM, presented by ACT along with its partner the International Parking Institute (IPI), on Wednesday, Aug. 31. During this day-long symposium, participants will learn about the parking management techniques and technologies that directly contribute to TDM objectives. Learn more about this symposium.
