MPC will join Robinson Engineering and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce in this session at the two-day conference on promoting workforce wellness.

Unstable and unaffordable housing markets, as well as neighborhoods and families devastated by foreclosures, can undermine workforce productivity. This session will highlight Robinson Engineering’s workplace health promotion and work life balance initiatives and the company’s employer-assisted housing (EAH) program. EAH is a generic term to describe any number of ways employers are leveraging public incentives to investing in homes for the local workforce. Key points of this session will focus on:

  • An in-depth look at employer-assisted housing
  • Demonstrating how EAH and an integrated health promotion program ill improve workforce retention, recruitment and morale
  • Commute Options pilot program through which employers contribute to Climate Action and Green initiatives

Presenters

  • Christopher King, President, Robinson Engineering
  • Denise St. Pierre, PHR, Manager, Organizational Development, Robinson Engineering
  • Nerina Human, Health and Wellness Program Director, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce
  • Samantha DeKoven, Project Manager, Metropolitan Planning Council
