The Conservation Foundation will be hosting its fourth Beyond the Basics: Stormwater Best Management Practices seminar on March 13th 2013 so save the date! This year's seminar features a strong agenda showcasing local projects and expertise as well as providing a national perspective on stormwater management. Our theme this year is focused on strengthening local stormwater management programs to more easily implement new requirements expected in the 2014 round of MS4 Stormwater Permits.
Our Keynote Address will be kicked off by Chris Kloss, Green Infrastructure Program Coordinator, US Environmental Protection Agency, Washington DC and Marcus Quigley, Principal Civil & Environmental Engineer, Geosyntec, Boston. Chris and Marcus have been actively involved in the development of the new stormwater rule and will provide the most up to date information about the direction the rule is heading, the recent trends in MS4 permit development, as well as providing some great examples of stormwater program implementation.
Big value. Small price.
In addition to a strong keynote, there will be four sessions with three concurrent tracks each, a presentation over a buffet lunch, a vendor room exhibiting the great expertise we have in our region and the all-important afternoon snack for only $85 if you register by March 1, 2013.
