MPC's MarySue Barrett, Abby Crisostomo, Josh Ellis, Tim Grzesiakowski, Chrissy Mancini Nichols, Marisa Novara, Peter Skosey, and Joanna Trotter will present

The urban planning world's main conference event, the American Planning Association's national conference, will be held this year in Chicago. MPC is playing a large role in the conference from co-chairing the local exhibit committee, to helping curate a special symposium on water, to helping develop a conference mobile app, to assisting with mobile workshops, to putting together panels, and presenting at 15 separate panels and mobile workshops. Sunday, 4/14

  • 9:45am-11am- Marisa (panel):  Space-in-Between Placemaking (public space symposium)
  • 1pm-2:15pm – Peter (panel): GO TO 2040: Two Years Later
  • 2:30-3:45pm – Marisa (panel): Necessary Elements for Safe, Walkable Streets

Monday, 4/15

  • 2:30pm-3:45pm – Josh (moderator): The Stormwater Infrastructure Spectrum (water symposium)
  • 4pm-5:15pm – Josh (assisting): Planning and Implementing Integrated Water Management (water symposium)
