How will the way we move our cities change in the future?

What role does mobility play in the modern city? What are the main social, economic, environmental and technological drivers of future mobility?

These and other questions will be addressed during a panel discussion at the New Cities Summit 2013, taking place in São Paolo, Brazil, June 4-6. MPC President MarySue Barrett joins an international panel of transportation and development experts and will discuss MPC's perspective on the future of urban mobility, including our support for initiatives such as bus rapid transit and city-wide bike-share in Chicago. The event will frame MPC's work within a broader global context.

Moderator:

Susan Shaheen, Co-Director, Institute of Transport Studies, Berkeley
