Worldwide, there is no shortage of capital for infrastructure projects. The sovereign wealth funds of nations like China and the United Arab Emirates are pouring trillions of dollars into transportation, logistics and utility infrastructure around the globe.
The question for Chicagoland and the Midwest more broadly is: Why not here?
