Chicago Humanities Festival Springfest/17: Stuff
MPC is pleased to partner with the Chicago Humanities Festival Springfest/17: Stuff to host a Talkback, a post-event conversation facilitated by Josh Ellis, after the program, Keeping Our Water Safe.
Tickets are available at Chicago Humanities Festival to CHF members on March 8 and to everyone else on March 15.
About the event and MPC's hosted talkback:
How do we share the stuff that nobody owns but everyone needs? Water is one of our most precious and finite resources, but it’s also under threat from climate change, overzealous development, and inconsistent governance. Join Radhika Fox, CEO of the US Water Alliance, which advocates for a “one water movement,” and Kim Wasserman-Nieto, executive director of the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization, for a conversation about local and national approaches to water security and sustainability. Michael Tiboris from the Chicago Council on Global Affairs joins them in conversation.
A Talkback hosted by MPC's Josh Ellis will follow this program in the James Parlor, Second Floor.
