This webinar will provide an overview of the budget outlook for states, with a focus on the impact of budget shortfalls on housing and other social programs. Speakers from Illinois, Maryland and other states will describe budget trends affecting their state and approaches to supporting housing programs in these difficult economic times. 

Phil Oliff of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities; Ray Pearl of the California Housing Consortium; Robin Snyderman of the Metropolitan Planning Council (Illinois); and Steven Silver of the Maryland Dept. of Housing and Community Development will be speaking.  Other speakers to be announced.
