How can we make metropolitan Chicago a place where it is as easy for seniors and people with a disability to get around as it is for everyone else? Join us for the release of MPC’s new blueprint: Toward Universal Mobility: Charting a Path to Improve Transportation Accessibility. The report studies the challenges people with disabilities and the elderly face in accessing our transportation system, and delivers a set of recommendations that makes the Greater Chicago region a place where everyone can get to anywhere they need, when they need.

RSVP Today!

Risa Rifkind, of ADA 25 Advancing Leadership, will moderate a lively discussion with:

  • Adam Ballard, Access Living
  • Jackie Forbes, Kane County Division of Transportation
  • Judy Shanley, PhD, Easterseals and National Center for Mobility Management
  • Audrey Wennink, Metropolitan Planning Council

The cost of the event is $15 for MPC donors and students with a current ID, $30 for all others. Lunch is included. If cost is a barrier to admission, please contact Angie Leyva, Events Manager, at aleyva@metroplanning.org or (312) 863-6017.

The Union League Club encourages business casual attire.
