In an age when Minneapolis, Nashville, Austin and other smaller cities are rising, what is the future of America’s most iconic and recognizable cities, such as Chicago, New York or San Francisco? Is the era of these titans waning?

Not at all, argue three organizations with a combined 300 years’ experience helping these cities overcome their challenges. Today's issues—from housing that people can afford to healthy job growth and vibrant neighborhoods—are complex and critical, but not insurmountable.

Join MPC, San Francisco’s SPUR and New York City’s Regional Plan Association on Thursday, June 2, to talk about the problems facing our cities and how to solve them.

Doors open at 5 p.m. The program will begin at 5:30 p.m., with time to mingle before and after the discussion. The cost of the event is $15 and includes light refreshments. Seating is limited, so please register in advance.
