Join us for the second session of this year's virtual Drinking Water 1-2-3 Academy, highlighting the facts, trends, and challenges of lead service lines (and their replacement) in Illinois. This virtual event will feature:
- A keynote fireside chat on lead service lines and the need for immediate action with U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth.
- A data-informed opening presentation on lead service lines in Illinois - honing in on related legislation, challenges, and opportunities for equitable impact by Brenda Santoyo, Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO).
- A moderated panel conversation featuring insights into innovative public utilities communications strategies, cost saving through predictive-analytics, and lead service line replacement funding methods, moderated by Monica Eng, WBEZ and featuring:

- A presentation on the IWASSA Water Ambassador Program by Annie Storey, Executive Director, Illinois Section of the American Water Works Association.
