Emerson Square, Evanston

Emerson Square is a beautiful, newly constructed development located just a few blocks from the CTA Purple Line Foster station at 1600 Foster St., adjacent to downtown Evanston. The 40-unit development will consist of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments that can accomodate a range of family sizes. The development also contains a new park and in-unit washer, dryers, and dishwashers. Emerson Square's mixed-income development, with five different housing types ranging from flats to attached townhomes, is a great option for small and larger households.

Greenleaf Manor, Glenview

Greenleaf Manor is located in Glenview, a quality community in Chicago's northern suburbs. The 20-unit development will contain 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units complete with washers, dryers, and green features. The development is located near transportation, shopping, and high-quality schools. Similarly, Glenview and the surrounding suburbs contain employment opportunities for families at various income levels. Greenleaf Manor is a great opportunity for families to access quality, affordable housing in an opportunity-rich area.

Myers Place, Mount Prospect

Myers Place is a newly constructed, supportive housing development located at 1601 S. Busse Rd. in Mount Prospect, close to I-90 and serviced by Pace bus 606. The 39 apartments will include one-bedrooms and studios. The apartments will be fully furnished and residents will be provided with basic kitchen equipment, bedroom furnishings, and bath furnishings, including pots, pans, sheets, pillows, shower curtain, etc. The on-site community room will include a small kitchen, computer room, laundry facilities, and library, and the first floor will feature a community health center that will serve residents and the broader Mount Prospect community. The Kenneth Young Center will provide vocational services to residents based on an individual needs assessment.

Conrad Apartments, Skokie

The Conrad Apartments are conveniently located adjacent to the CTA Skokie Yellow Line Station at 4906 Conrad St. in Skokie. These spacious two-bedroom apartments feature air conditioning and ample closets. The complex sits amidst beautiful tree-lined streets that you will want to call home.

Leland Apartments, Chicago

Leland Apartments is a 100 percent affordable housing development located in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. Of the 137 apartments, 50 are reserved for persons with co-occuring mental and substance abuse disorders. Transit access at Leland is phenomenal with the development being located close to the Wilson CTA Station and the 36 Broadway bus route. Additionally, the neighborhood features a wide variety of amenities, including the brand new Wilson Yard's Target, a Jewel grocery store, and a multitude of shopping and restaurants. 

East Park Apartments, Rolling Meadows

East Park Apartments, located close to I-90 and Route 53 in beautiful Rolling Meadows, offers two-bedroom, one-bath homes in a park-like setting. These units feature free heat, new carpeting, and are cable-ready, and the apartment complex has on-site laundry facilities and a playground. On-site management and maintenance will take care of any problems quickly. Just minutes from Woodfield Mall, the community resource center offers a number of services, including a computer lab, ESL classes, tutoring, immunizations and nutrition counseling, family counseling, and employment services.

    Did they start building the emerson square ? If so when will they be available,im currently on the waitlist and thats. the development i chose on my application.

    I want to get my brother on a wait list for housing for a low income Bi-bipolar adult. I am new to this, Kenneth young center mentioned the Myers place. Do I fill out your application and send it to you? How do I begin this process?

    Hi, I been on the waiting list and still waiting and I jus recently moved from Louisiana me and my two kids I'm approved for a 3 bedroom apartment..I'm not too picky I jus NEED somewhere for me and my kids to stay ASAP..please contact me once something is available! Thank you.
