Next Monday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m., the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and The Chicago Community Trust will co-host a "sneak peek" webinar of the Regional Indicators Project's "MetroPulse" web site.
MetroPulse will track quality of life in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties through a simple but powerful interface to access a vast warehouse of data, which corresponds to recommendations in CMAP's GO TO 2040 comprehensive plan, adopted Oct. 13. MetroPulse, which launches publicly on Nov. 17, will facilitate local decision-making and track the region's progress toward implementing GO TO 2040.
The webinar will include background information on MetroPulse, video tutorials of how the web site can be used, and plans for how the data warehouse will develop over time. Webinar participants will have a chance to ask questions and see how their data needs can be met using MetroPulse.
