MPC is thrilled to see so many friends on Crain's Who's Who list!

MPC relies on our tireless donors and partners to help us make the Chicago region a better place to live and work.

Chicago is full of movers and shakers who are willing to work to make our region stronger. That was our takeaway from Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2016 Who’s Who in Chicago Business. So many of the names were people we at Metropolitan Planning Council have been honored to work with over the years. We know them because they’re deeply passionate about Chicagoland's trajectory and its people.

The Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC) is fortunate to have a dedicated, talented and diverse core of volunteers whose expertise and advice inform our work every day. Whether they serve as members of our Board of Governors or Resource Board, and/or are an Executive Advisor, these individuals play a major role in achieving our mission.

Since 1989, Crain's has published this annual list, which in 2016 identified the 561 most influential players in 22 industries, from architecture to transportation. Congratulations are in order for the many, many MPC volunteers on this year’s list!
