Background information for the Uptown community workshops

We've put together some introductory materials so you can learn about the two sites in question for our three-part workshop process in Uptown, plus relevant topics like affordable housing and tax-increment financing.

Check out the PDFs below. The "Prompt Posters," which include information about affordable housing, space under the tracks, and more, were created in association with Gensler Architects and the Illinois Institute of Technology.

In addition, read the report produced by Uptown United in association with The Lakota Group that addresses potential adaptive uses for the Stewart School, and the survey conducted by One Northside.
